AND PARTICIPANTS
The EmpowerMoms Project is designed to enhance maternal health education and support for pregnant women, provide infant health monitoring for children aged 0 to 3, and train healthcare providers on cultural sensitivity. The project's target area is the MS Delta counties, specifically Bolivar, Coahoma, Humphreys, Leflore, Issaquena, Sharkey, Sunflower, Quitman, and Washington.

The project achieved or made progress toward several short-term goals:

Key activities seven community outreach events in the MS Delta by Delta Community Solutions CHWs, two cultural competency trainings by Six Dimensions - Dr. Burse and Project Advocate - Dr. McKnight, and co-hosted three IAMH Maternal and Child Health Coalition meetings.
