The Institute for the Advancement of Minority Health proudly participated in World Homeless Day 2025 on October 10, 2025, at The Stewpot’s Opportunity Center in Jackson, MS. The event brought together community partners to provide essential health resources, food, music, and support services for individuals experiencing homelessness. Through outreach and education, the Institute shared vital information on chronic disease prevention, infectious disease awareness, and access to community health programs, reinforcing its mission to advance health equity for all. Together, we celebrated resilience and community while working toward a healthier, stronger Jackson.
