The Black Men's Equity Conference is jointly sponsored by the Institute for the Advancement of Minority Health and the Black Men's Health Equity Council. The Black Men’s Equity Conference is designed to address strategies to reduce disparities that directly impact Black men. Scheduled topics include mass incarceration, social justice, mental/physical health, and economic empowerment. The keynote speaker is Dr. Yusef Salaam, NY City Councilman and one of the (Central Park) Exonerated Five.
The Conference is free to attend. Registration is required.
Attendees will receive complimentary breakfast and lunch. Registration will begin at 8 AM.
